Artist was one of the first original design series Ibanez made and it came on the market back in 1974 and has come and gone since then. The series is still a very popular model and many of the older ones have become sought-after items by collectors.

Body: Okoume/maple top.
Okoume is a wood with sound properties on the warmer side with a clear and prominent midrange, extremely similar to mahogany in its character. Maple, which in addition to often looking absolutely fantastic, has a prominent, clean and snappy treble. Often to the point that a body made entirely of maple becomes too bright. But the combination of Okoume and maple gives fantastic sound properties where the different types of wood complement each other perfectly.

Pickups: Ibanez classic Super 58 with 2 Tri-Sound switches
Super 58 are medium output humbuckers of the PAF type, simply traditional vintage tone.
The tri-tone switches (one per pickup) allow you to access series/parallel/coil tap on each pickup.
This makes the guitar capable of tons of sound possibilities.
