The AE body shape features modern design elements to achieve high playability and create a well-balanced sound that follows the concept of the AE series.
The combination of the specially designed Scalloped X Bracing and Tone Projection Back Bracing, produces a versatile sound character.
The AE160 has a solid Sitka spruce top with flamed maple body and sides, lacquered in transparent red.
It has a woody, warm tone with a smooth fingerboard response and produces powerful high mids with a clear projection. The fretboard inlays also add a sophisticated feel to the guitar.
