Advanced Auditorium
To this end, we sought to create something entirely new, a series of instruments imbued with old-fashioned, hand-built, and rare qualities.
These instruments use the highest quality woods and are designed with uncompromising attention to detail, representing the pinnacle of Ibanez acoustic guitar design and tone.

The body shape is designed to achieve high playability combined with a well-balanced and resonant sound that works equally well in the studio and on stage, whether playing solo or in an ensemble.
A specially designed X-M bracing provides a wide sound and good projection (how the instrument projects sound). A rich and long sustain that works well for both pick and fingerstyle playing.

The AAM370M1CE features our new A.I.R. Port design. Acoustic - Information - Response
The A.I.R. Port provides better audibility for the guitarist. A hole in the soundboard facing you. It's a fantastic feature. A clear trend among acoustic guitars, but no major manufacturer offers it at an affordable price point. Plus, what the others have is basically just a hole drilled in the body.
Ibanez felt there had to be a better way to improve audibility.
After trying many different sizes and types of holes and designs, they decided on the perfect sound port design, placing angled wooden blocks that throw the sound out of the port. They also decided to apply it to a wide range of models.
The body has a solid Sitka Spruce top with flamed maple sides and back.
Incorporating electronics, preamps, and microphones into acoustic instruments always compromises the acoustic sound of the instrument. On the AAM model, this compromise has been minimized by using a very compact active preamp to affect the acoustic sound as little as possible.
The guitar retains its acoustic tone while having a stable, melodious, natural, and interference-free plugged-in sound.
