A528-IPT. (Iron Pewter) Electric guitar with gig bag, Multi-scale 8-string. Alpha series.

The Alpha series is a series of completely newly developed instruments from Ibanez.
Common denominators for alpha are:
Multi-scale. Available in both 7 and 8-string models.

The wood in the body.
The body is made of Basswood (Lind), which is a fairly light wood with an even frequency response across the entire register. This makes it a wood that is easy to color in many different directions and get many different kinds of sounds out of. The even frequency response also makes it very suitable for distorted sounds, it glues the sound together nicely without it becoming either scattered or unclear.

The truss rod in the neck of all models are modern double-acting truss rods, which means that it tightens in both directions.

Parallel Wizard.
Parallel Wizard is a brand new neck profile for Ibanez and it is a neck that is the same thickness across the entire neck instead of getting thicker the further up the neck you go as guitar necks traditionally are.
This makes it feel the same to play on 3 frets as on 17 frets.
The neck is 19mm thick over its entire length.

Jumbo Stainless Steel frets.
The fingerboard has been equipped with Jumbo Stainless frets, which are significantly harder than normal frets, which means that they wear extremely much slower than standard frets. They also retain their smooth, supple, "newly polished fret" feel much longer than regular frets. If
you don't play extremely much and tour constantly, they will last a lifetime. They are not indestructible, but very close.
The neck has also been equipped with side dots by Luminlay, self-luminous fret markings.
A godsend on dark stages.

Fishman pickups.
Alpha is equipped with Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, a completely new way of making pickups.
An active mic with two different sounds you can switch between built into the mic itself called voice 1 and voice 2.
Voice 1 - Modern Active High Output - The ideal active ceramic humbucker tone. Crisp, searing crunch, tight bass with no mud, and a growl.
Voice 2 - Modern Passive Attack - Organic, high output, passive ceramic tone. Superb distortion characteristics with Fluence dynamics and response.
