Hohner Marine Band 1896 B-major

Hohner Marine Band 1896 B-major – Diatonic Blues Harmonica

The Hohner Marine Band 1896 B-major is a classic diatonic harmonica with an iconic design and authentic blues sound. Its original construction has inspired musicians for over 100 years and is appreciated for its responsive reeds, expressive tone and excellent note-bending capabilities. Particularly suited to blues, it also produces a rich, full sound when several notes are played together.

The brown pearwood comb contributes to the instrument's characteristic woody tone. Its double-lacquered finish helps protect the wood against warping over time. The reed plates and cover plates are traditionally nailed together, while the curved stainless steel covers with side vents contribute to the classic blues sound.
