Hagström’s 100th anniversary is celebrated with the 100th Anniversary Viking—a tribute to our rich Swedish guitar-making heritage. First introduced internationally in 1965, the Hagström Viking has been a symbol of versatility, tone, and striking aesthetics, now recreated in this exclusive anniversary edition limited to only 100 individually numbered copies worldwide.

This extraordinary Viking is a combination of classic craftsmanship and modern enhancements. Hand-selected Canadian flamed maple forms the semi-acoustic body, providing the warmth and resonance for which the Viking is renowned. Hagström’s Resinator™ fingerboard, prized for its stability and balanced tonal response, is now adorned with an exclusive Ragnarök inlay that symbolizes both tradition and renewal.

To mark this anniversary, we have equipped the 100th Anniversary Viking with specially developed gold-plated Hagström Custom 58 Pro AlNiCo 5 humbucker pickups, designed to deliver even more warmth, exceptional clarity, and a slight bite in the treble and midrange—perfect for blues, jazz, and rock.

For added elegance, this Viking is equipped with gold-plated Gotoh hardware, including precision Gotoh tuning machines, a Gotoh TOM bridge, and a specially designed Gotoh Stop Tailpiece, providing superior stability, response, and sustain. On stage, security is ensured by Gotoh Locking Strap Pins, also in gold.
