Sound Performance

The GS3000 features Grado’s largest 52 mm X2 driver, incorporating a Mylar diaphragm, copper voice coil, and a magnetic system optimized for efficiency and dynamic control. The larger diaphragm surface area allows for greater air movement, resulting in deeper bass, increased dynamic range, and a powerful yet relaxed presentation.

The soundstage is wide and airy, offering excellent instrument separation and depth. Despite its large-scale presentation, the GS3000 maintains focus and precision, delivering a balanced and engaging listening experience even with complex recordings.

Design and Comfort

The GS3000 is equipped with Grado’s Signature Gold headband, the most advanced headband design in the Classic Series. Aluminum and stainless-steel components provide outstanding stability and long-term durability.

The wider leather strap improves weight distribution and enhances comfort during extended listening sessions. An adjustable steel spring band allows for easy fit customization.

G Cushions and Soundstage

The included G Cushions position the drivers farther from the ears, creating a wider and more three-dimensional soundstage with increased space and depth.

The cushions also function as a tuning element and can be replaced to tailor both sound characteristics and comfort to personal preferences.

Wood and Aluminum Construction

The GS3000 combines a premium wood outer housing with a precision-machined aluminum inner structure. The wood contributes warmth and tonal richness, while the aluminum enhances stability and provides greater control over internal resonances.
