The Gibson Parlor Rosewood EC is a compact acoustic guitar featuring a Parlor body andcutaway,combining comfortable playability with a full and balanced sound. Its smaller body makes itcomfortable tohold and play, particularly for guitarists who prefer smaller acoustic instruments or areaccustomed toelectric guitars. The solid rosewood back and sides contribute additional low-end responseand depth,while the solid Sitka spruce top delivers a warm and nuanced acoustic tone.

The guitar features traditional scalloped X-bracing and a compound dovetail neck joint. Its mahoganyneckhas a comfortable Advanced Response profile and a rosewood fretboard with a 16" radius, 19standard frets,and mother-of-pearl parallelogram inlays. The cutaway provides improved access to theupper frets andgreater freedom for lead playing.

The exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA pickup system delivers natural and detailed amplified acoustic sound.Itfeatures two lightweight sensors mounted on the internal bridge plate, each with its owndedicated,custom-voiced Class A preamp. The sensors capture the guitar's natural resonance, string detail,anddynamic range. Soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls provide convenient accessduringperformance without affecting the guitar's unamplified tone.

The guitar is equipped with a traditional Belly-up rosewood bridge, TUSQ nut, saddle and bridge pins,andgold Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners. A modern hardshell case is included.
