The Gibson L-00 Original is an acoustic guitar with a compact small-body design, vintage-inspired appointments and a balanced, rich and full tone. The model carries forward Gibson's heritage of small-body acoustics with a Sitka spruce top and solidmahogany back and sides. The top features traditional hand scalloped X-bracing and classic single-ply binding. The gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish and subtle antiqued binding reinforce the traditional appearance.

The mahogany neck features a fast and comfortable SlimTaper profile and is attachedwith a compound dovetail neck-to-body joint. The rosewood fingerboard has a 12-inch radius, 19 standard frets and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. The guitar features a bone nut, rosewood rectangle closed-slot bridge, bone saddle and TUSQ bridge pins. Golden Age tuners with cream buttons and the classic white-script Gibson logo complete the vintage-oriented design.

Baggs HiFi DNA Pickup System
The Gibson-exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA system uses two lightweight sensors mounted on the internal bridge plate. Each sensor has its own dedicated custom-voiced Class Astudio-quality preamp, with the sensors blended for optimized output. The systemcaptures string detail, body resonance, the guitar's natural voice and dynamic range.

HiFi DNA preserves the guitar's dynamic range from light fingerstyle to heavystrumming and provides a detailed representation of the guitar's character, warmth andresponse when amplified. The system offers comparable gain-before-feedback to under-saddle pickup systems and features easily accessible soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls.
