Introducing the updated J-45 Studio Walnut, a full-bodied walnut acoustic guitar with a gloss lacquer top, perfect for both studio and stage. Originally released in 1942 and known as “The Workhorse,” the J-45 is Gibson’s best-selling acoustic model, celebrated for its simplicity and versatility across genres.

Handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, it features all-solid tonewoods, including a Sitka spruce top for a dynamic range and a warm, balanced sound from the walnut back and sides. The guitar's full-depth, round shoulder body offers rich tone and excellent projection.

Designed for playability, it includes an Advanced Response neck profile, a walnut fretboard with 20 frets and mother-of-pearl dot inlays, and a 16” radius for easy note runs. Equipped with Grover® Rotomatic® tuning machines and a Graph Tech® TUSQ® nut, it ensures stable tuning.
