The Gibson J-45 Standard Rosewood is a left-handed acoustic guitar that combines the iconic J-45designwith a solid rosewood body. Its classic Round Shoulder dreadnought shape delivers the familiarplaying feeland balanced response the model is known for, while the solid rosewood back and sidesprovide fuller bassresponse and greater overtone complexity. The solid Sitka spruce top with traditionalhand-scalloped X-bracing produces an expressive and dynamic acoustic tone.

The mahogany neck features a comfortable SlimTaper profile and an Indian rosewood fretboard with a12"radius, 20 standard frets, and mother-of-pearl dot inlays. The neck is attached using a compounddovetailjoint with hot hide glue. The gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish enhances the natural character ofthetonewoods and the guitar's classic appearance.

The exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA pickup system delivers natural and detailed amplified acoustic sound.Itfeatures two lightweight sensors mounted on the internal bridge plate, each with its owndedicated,custom-voiced Class A preamp. The sensors capture the guitar's natural resonance, string detail,anddynamic range for realistic sound reproduction. Soundhole-mounted volume and tone controlsprovideconvenient access during performance without affecting the guitar's unamplified tone.

The guitar is equipped with a Reverse Belly rosewood bridge, TUSQ saddle and bridge pins, and goldGroverRotomatic tuners. A Gibson hardshell case is included.
