The Gibson Hummingbird Standard Rosewood combines the iconic Hummingbird design with asolidrosewood body, delivering a fuller bass response and greater overtone complexity. Its solid Sitkasprucetop is paired with solid rosewood back and sides, creating a versatile acoustic tone suited toeverythingfrom rhythm playing and strumming to expressive fingerstyle and picked lead lines.

The guitar features traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing and a mahogany neck with a comfortableRoundedprofile. The Indian rosewood fretboard features 20 standard frets, a 12" radius, and elegantmother-of-pearlparallelogram inlays. A gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish complements the naturalcharacter of thetonewoods and the classic Hummingbird silhouette.

The exclusive Baggs HiFi DNA pickup system delivers detailed and natural amplified acoustic sound.Itfeatures two lightweight sensors mounted on the internal bridge plate, each with its owndedicated,custom-voiced Class A preamp. This design provides enhanced sensitivity, dynamic response,andaccurate reproduction of the guitar's natural resonance and string detail. The omnidirectionalsensorscapture the instrument's natural voice and dynamic range, while the soundhole-mounted volumeand tonecontrols offer convenient access during performance without affecting the guitar's unamplifiedtone.

The guitar is equipped with a Reverse Belly rosewood bridge, TUSQ saddle and bridge pins, and goldGroverRotomatic tuners. A Gibson hardshell case is included.
