Gibson Hummingbird Special Satin Vintage Sunburst

The Gibson Hummingbird™ Special, introduced in 1960, is a renowned acoustic guitar now available at an attractive price. Handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, it features a traditional square-shouldered body made of solid mahogany back and sides, with a solid Sitka spruce top reinforced by scalloped X-bracing. This design provides a warm, balanced tone suitable for various music styles. The slightly thinner "concert depth" body enhances bass response and playability. The guitar has a comfortable Round neck profile, a rosewood fretboard with 20 frets and pearloid inlays, and a traditional belly-up rosewood bridge with TUSQ® components. Equipped with Grover® tuners and a simplified pickguard, the Hummingbird Special is finished in satin nitrocellulose lacquer and includes an L.R. Baggs™ pickup system, making it ready for stage and studio use right out of the premium soft shell case.
