Gibson 1957 SJ-200 Light Aged Natural

The Gibson SJ-200, introduced in 1937 as "the King of the Flat-Tops," is renowned for its size, sound, and stage presence. In 1947, its wood changed from rosewood to maple. Used by a wide range of artists, vintage models are highly collectible. Gibson Custom now offers the 1957 SJ-200 Light Aged, a detailed reproduction featuring AAA flamed maple back and sides, a thermally aged Sitka spruce top with scalloped X-bracing, and ornate binding. It has a two-piece maple neck with mother-of-pearl inlays, gold Gotoh tuners, and a rosewood fretboard. The guitar is finished with Light Aging by the Murphy Lab to evoke a vintage look and feel, and is housed in a period-correct Lifton™ case for an authentic experience.
