The FIIO FT1 cups are crafted from carefully selected FAS-grade American black walnut. The wood's smooth grain, unique to each piece, and delicate texture fully showcase its natural beauty. This very dense solid wood also helps effectively reduce cavity resonance and minimize standing waves.

60 mm dynamic driver
The FIIO FT1 features a newly developed second-generation 60 mm dynamic driver, specifically designed for FIIO's first closed-back over-ear headphones. This larger-than-average driver improves energy conversion efficiency and provides a solid foundation for powerful bass. Furthermore, the larger driver size results in lower resonance points at low frequencies, enabling deeper bass, dynamic sound, and an overall authoritative sound.

Nanofiber composite membrane - papermaking technology and the art of sound
The FIIO FT1's diaphragm is primarily made of carefully selected paperwood fibers derived from 90-year-old spruce from Northern Europe. European spruce is a premium raw material for musical instruments and fiber products, known for its clear and natural sound. Mature Northern European spruce undergoes a series of processes, including soaking, boiling, and beating, to create a specific pulp. To meet acoustic resilience requirements, a certain proportion of carbon fiber material is added. The diaphragm then undergoes another round of firing and shaping, resulting in a final thickness of approximately 0.1 mm, making it lightweight and durable. To fully utilize the acoustic performance of the nanowood fibers, a lightweight, high-internal-resistance PU material is used for the suspension gasket. This improves the diaphragm's compliance and increases low-frequency elasticity, enhancing the density of the voices from the sound source and producing warm, rich vocals.

In keeping with its overall acoustic design and high-quality listening experience, the FIIO FT1 uses a nanowood fiber diaphragm. This diaphragm is made of carefully selected paper fibers combined with a lightweight PU (polyurethane) suspension gasket. It features excellent high-frequency extension and transient response, resulting in clean, precise sound with clear imaging and the unique sweet, rich, and dense midrange vocals of paper diaphragms. This driver works harmoniously with the FT1's other acoustic design elements to achieve a specially tuned frequency response for a pure and pleasant sound experience. It's as if the elegant aesthetics of the "paper" driver are perfectly translated into beautiful sound.

Cutting-edge technology and innovative applications
The FIIO FT1, FIIO's first closed-back over-ear headphones, pioneer a new generation of proprietary acoustic technology—the W-shaped suspension gasket. The 25 mm diameter voice coil is larger than similar models and has been specially optimized and tuned. Compared to typical, similarly sized diaphragms, the W-shaped diaphragm achieves a 25.8% larger effective vibration area, allowing it to store more energy. The FT1's diaphragm, with a hard dome and a compliant suspension gasket, allows the 25 mm voice coil to directly drive the stiffer dome region. This design minimizes vibration losses between the different materials and reduces distortion caused by driver breakup, allowing the FT1 to deliver a more refined sound.

Ultra-fine Japanese CCAW voice coil
To ensure robust and high-quality sound, the FIIO FT1 uses a specially imported Japanese ultra-fine CCAW (Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire) voice coil with a diameter of up to 25 mm. A longer voice coil copper wire can directly improve the transducer's efficiency and driving capacity, resulting in better transient response and a purer, more pleasing sound. Each individual wire core in the CCAW coil has a diameter of approximately 0.035 mm, making it as thin as a hair. Furthermore, the FT1's voice coil frame is made of lightweight KSV (Kapton), which also contributes to a significant reduction in overall diaphragm mass. The result is improved response speed and minimized reverberation.

Closed design
The FT1 is FIIO's first closed-back over-ear headphone and features a range of features specifically designed to enhance the closed-back listening experience. A series of sound-isolating components in the FT1 effectively reduce ambient noise, including external voices and ambient noise, by up to 26 dB. Whether you're commuting, editing recordings, working in the office, or gaming, the FT1 immerses you in a world of high-fidelity audio. It's a truly great-sounding all-round headphone.

U-shaped silencer tube for improved noise reduction
The U-shaped sound dampening tube, specially designed for the FIIO FT1, not only improves passive noise reduction but also ensures that sound energy is directed through the flute over a specific length and angle, increasing air viscosity and lowering the cavity's resonance frequency. This further enhances bass extension. You'll clearly feel the air movement and the concentrated power of the percussion and strings.

Conical baffle
The pursuit of excellent sound has always been the essence of hi-fi. The development team designed a conical baffle for the FT1 dynamic drivers based on their characteristics. This device allows the entire driver to be positioned parallel to the human ear, breaking sound convergence and eliminating standing waves. The result is minimal high-frequency attenuation for true hi-fi sound quality.

32 Ω design with high sensitivity
The FIIO FT1 is designed to provide users with a high-quality HiFi experience in a variety of usage scenarios. To achieve this, the FT1 features a low impedance of 32Ω and offers an acoustic sensitivity of 113dB/Vrms@1kHz (equivalent to 98dB/mW@1kHz). This significantly reduces the drive power requirement, allowing you to effortlessly enjoy excellent sound quality.

Adaptive 3-axis headband
The FT1 inherits the excellent ergonomic design of the FIIO FT series. The adaptive 3-axis headband allows for free rotation at various angles. This design adapts to different head sizes and ensures a snug fit for improved comfort and minimal sound loss.

10Hz-40kHz ultra-wide frequency response
The FIIO FT1 boasts a frequency response of 10 Hz to 40 kHz, providing a studio-like listening experience. Every tiny detail is reproduced cleanly, just as you would expect from a professional audio device.

Lightweight, portable headband
To make the FT1 headband more wearable and lightweight, it is equipped with high-quality steel rails, significantly increasing the durability of the headband. You'll feel the precision and refinement of the mechanical construction every time you adjust the headband. Furthermore, compared to similar products, the FT1 offers a wider adjustment range of 0 to 11 clicks to accommodate different head sizes. The part of the headband that comes into contact with the head is made of lychee leather for a soft and comfortable wearing experience.

Experience comfortable long listening sessions and say goodbye to stuffiness. The FT1 features breathable fabric ear cushions made from a textile material that comes into contact with your skin. The high-density, breathable mesh design efficiently dissipates the heat that builds up between the ear cushions and your ears.
