The DM15R2R brings disc playback up to date with a compact design, modern connectivity and an R2R DAC that gives your CDs a warm, textured sound that you can take anywhere.
It is powered by a high-voltage lithium battery, offers both single-ended and fully balanced outputs, and supports USB-DAC, Bluetooth transmission, and optical/coaxial output modes.
Whether you are sitting at your desk or relaxing on the couch, the DM15R2R ensures that your discs keep playing without you being tied to a power outlet.

A modern interpretation of portable disc playback
Use the DM15 as a purely portable CD player or as a USB DAC, Bluetooth transmitter or optical/coaxial source for your speakers or amplifier.
It switches effortlessly between the different functions, allowing you to decide how and where you want to listen to music.
The transparent window gives you a clear view of the disc, and the aluminum housing ensures a solid grip in the hand.

High-voltage lithium battery for true mobility
A 4700 mAh lithium battery operating at 3.85 V powers the player for approximately seven hours. Because the battery operates at a higher voltage, the analog circuitry maintains strong output fluctuations and clean performance even when you're away from your desk. Charging is quick—around two hours with PD3.0 fast charging—so you can always have it ready for spontaneous listening.

FiiO's discrete R2R DAC for natural sound
At the heart of the DM15R2R is Fiio's in-house developed R2R DAC. Instead of a conventional delta-sigma architecture, it uses a resistive ladder to convert digital data into analog waveforms. The result is a smoother, more organic sound that many listeners prefer. The player also boasts low noise and distortion – THD+N below 0.030% at 1 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of at least 112 dB – ensuring that quiet passages remain quiet and dynamic passages remain powerful.

Symmetrical and asymmetrical outputs to suit your listening style
You get both a 3.5 mm single-ended and a 4.4 mm fully balanced headphone output, each with its own dedicated amplification. The balanced output offers up to 1150 mW per channel in desktop mode, while the single-ended output provides easier handling for high-efficiency headphones.
The line-out options are equally flexible, as both the 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm outputs are designed for use with amplifiers or active loudspeakers.

Bluetooth, if you want to work wirelessly
If you want to break free from cables, the DM15R2R can transmit Bluetooth signals to your favorite wireless headphones or speakers. Supported codecs include SBC, aptX, aptX-HD, aptX-LL, and aptX-Adaptive. This allows you to easily listen to your discs without being tethered to a cable. Useful while cooking, moving around the living room, or in any situation where cables can be a nuisance.

ESP anti-vibration support for more stable playback
The ESP switch stabilizes playback if the player is moved or repositioned. It reduces the likelihood of dropouts when you walk around or carry the device from room to room. Once you're settled at your desk or on the couch, you can leave it on or off. The player will read the disc reliably in either case.

An infrared remote control for touchless operation
If the DM15R2R is across the room, you can use the included infrared remote control to operate basic transport functions without having to pick up the unit. Skip tracks, pause, stop, or adjust output modes while remaining seated. It's a small feature, but it makes for a more relaxed listening experience—especially when the player is paired with speakers or an amplifier.

Special laser lens for CD players for stable disc reading
The DM13 has been on the market for over a year. Its disc reading performance has been significantly improved through several upgrades and optimizations. Building on this, the DM15R2R is being further developed, with considerable investment in adapting certain disc shapes and introducing a self-resetting steel button design to ensure smoother disc insertion and removal and prevent disc damage.
*The disc reading capability of the DM15R2R corresponds to the new firmware version of the DM13.
**Due to the limitations of the portable movement mechanism, perfect reading of all CDs cannot be guaranteed. Firmware upgrades will be implemented in the future to continuously optimize disc reading performance.
***Due to differences in movement, disc material, and recording environment, skipping frames when reading a small number of high-capacity CDs is a normal phenomenon.
