FiiO Air Amp Silver

The FiiO AIR AMP is a compact HiFi amplifier that combines network streaming, high-resolution decoding and powerful Class-D amplification in a single device. It supports Roon Ready, AirPlay and QPlay, as well as local playback from NAS devices, USB sticks and external hard drives.

Powered by the TI TPA3255 amplifier chip and a classic PFFB negative feedback circuit, the AIR AMP delivers 120 W + 120 W into 4 Ω when used with the included 48 V/5 A power supply. With a 48 V/10 A power supply, output power can reach up to 235 W + 235 W into 4 Ω.

The digital audio section combines an XMOS XU316 processor with a dedicated ESS ES9020Q DAC. The XMOS processor supports high-resolution audio up to 768 kHz and DSD512, while a 10-band PEQ, independent bass and treble controls, and built-in EQ presets provide flexible sound adjustment.

With seven input options and three output options, the AIR AMP can integrate a wide range of sources and systems. Connectivity includes USB, optical, coaxial, Bluetooth, local playback, streaming and RCA inputs, with speaker, subwoofer and preamplifier outputs.

Network connectivity is provided by Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band 2.4 GHz/5 GHz Wi-Fi. The FiiO Control app and web interface provide access to network settings, playback and detailed EQ configuration, while the included infrared remote control allows convenient control of inputs, volume and EQ presets.
