EVE Audio SC3012

The Eve Audio SC3012 features a powerful and customised PWM amplifiers for each driver, designed from the scratch to provide the lowest distortion possible, high SPL and superior directivity. Both the Tweeter and midrange drivers use a 250W amplifier each each while the bass woofer sports an impressive 800W. The SC3012 is capable of providing an impressive maximum SPL of 118dB.

The 12” SilverCone bass woofer with long excursion uses a hexagonal glass fibre layered diaphragm that will produce low distortion at all frequencies all the way down to 25Hz even a high levels for a truly clean and detailed bass. The 5” midrange driver is made of glass fibre layered Rohacell sandwich diaphragm which provides optimum midrange frequency reproduction. A brand new AMT RS 6 tweeter has specifically designed to deliver Middle and high frequencies with unparalleled precision and detail.

DSP electronics are the core of the SC3012 providing accurate volume control as well as filter settings to tune the sound to your room. 24-bit/192kHz Burr-Brown A/D converter is employed to provide immaculate conversion to the DSP section. Unlike many other digital speakers, the Eve SC3012 doesn’t require any additional DA conversion because the PWM amplifiers are directly connected to the DSP.

A specifically designed large rectangle rear port with no hard edges has been employed to provide tight and punchy bass frequencies with no distortion even at high volume. In-wall installation is possible thanks to the provided high-density foam to close the port and the “inwall” filter settings which improve the quality and focus of the speaker.

The Eve Audio SC3012 can be positioned horizontally or vertically with the front plate of the speaker rotating to keep control room sight lines and acoustic performance.
