Evans UV1 skins are designed to deliver a wide sound palette while being the most durable single layer skins on the market. The new UV coating has incomparable durability and the fine-grained surface, together with the unique 10 mil thick film, delivers a dynamic sound with brilliant top register and rich bottom.
When played slightly off-center, the UV1 has nice overtones with a clear identity that, when played stronger, rounds off and gives an attack that is more reminiscent of two layered skins. UV1 thrives in a variety of tunings, low tuned the attack is softer and delivers good bottom with good portability. Tuned high, the sound becomes more cohesive and the attack becomes firm with a full core.

UV1 has Level 360 profile for best fit, tonal range and tunability.
