Epiphone Firebird Wine Red

Epiphone’s Inspired by Gibson Firebird™ rocks the reverse body and headstock design first introduced in 1963. Designed by renowned automotive designer Ray Dietrich, the Firebird was Gibson’s first neck-through-body guitar design. Its traditional 9-ply mahogany and walnut neck-through construction delivers rich, warm tone, exceptional resonance, and long sustain, with the tuners, pickups, bridge, and tailpiece all mounted on the same continuous pieces of wood.

The SlimTaper C neck profile, bound rosewood fretboard, 22 medium jumbo frets, and pearloid trapezoid inlays provide fast, effortless playability with unmistakable Firebird style. The guitar is equipped with ProBucker™ FB720 Firebird pickups with Alnico 2 magnets, built to original 1960s Gibson Firebird specifications and wired to CTS® potentiometers. Unlike mini humbuckers, Firebird pickups use dual blade magnets inside the coils with no pole pieces, plus a steel reflector plate, delivering a distinctive, bright, hum-free tone.

Premium hardware includes an Epiphone LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover® Mini Rotomatic six-in-line tuners, and a Graph Tech® nut for stable tuning. The pickguard features the iconic Firebird logo hot-stamped in red. A premium gig bag is included.
