The creative use of mix-and-match plug-ins, Axe FX and real amplifiers by Jake Bowen continues to boost his progressive metal sound, and his new Mirage pickups are the next step on this journey. His newest guitar designed by Ibanez represents a change from his old instrument that had two Titan humbuckers, now he has a double-blade Strat-style pickup for the arm and a humbucker on the bridge.
He also told us that he recently changed his pick technique and wanted to capture the same timbre and dynamic palette that he always had with our Titans.

With the bridge Mirage Jake wanted a little more of "everything", from the new bridge pickup design: more output and more treble, mids and bass to improve clarity in low tunings and complex chords.
So, we went a step further and added a laser-cut racing track on the satin nickel cover with a diamond pattern to complete the muscle car aesthetic of your new guitar.
