dB Technologies SUB 918 – Powerful 18” Active Subwoofer
The dB Technologies SUB 918 is a high-performance active subwoofer designed for floor-stacked PA systems where powerful and controlled low-frequency support is essential. It features a premium 18” driver in a bass-reflex design and is powered by a 900 W RMS DIGIPRO G3 Class-D amplifier that delivers impressive sound pressure levels of up to 134 dB.

The SUB 918 offers advanced networking functionality via the RDNet protocol and Aurora Net software (Windows/macOS), enabling real-time monitoring and remote control. This allows the subwoofer to be seamlessly integrated into complex system setups alongside dBTechnologies full-range speakers that support RDNet communication.

On the rear panel, there are onboard controls for attenuation, polarity reversal, and DSP delay adjustable in 0.5 ms increments up to 4.5 ms (and up to 21 ms via Aurora Net). A separate knob allows the user to select a crossover frequency between 70 and 110 Hz.

The rugged plywood cabinet combines high durability with low weight (41.8 kg) and is equipped with integrated carrying handles and wheel mounts for easy transport. The design allows for both vertical and horizontal placement, and two M20 mounting points on the top and side make the SUB 918 compatible with a wide range of full-range speakers.
