A 2-ply coated 7,5 mil drum head with a bonded outer rim for more tone control. The ring around the skin controls the sound, harmonics and gives the skin a fast, deep attack and a very short sustain. The sound of the coated is smoother (smooth), accentuates the low notes and is less bright than the clear series.
