Fully-Discrete Pure 1-Bit R2R DAC
Cayin RU7 features a fully-discrete pure 1-Bit R2R ladder Array DAC. It features a micro-miniaturized 1-Bit DAC circuit formed using discrete components. It has a fully-differentiate 4-Ch DAC architecture with a total of 128(4x32) high-precision film resistors. It is similar to their recently launched N7 DAC. Cayin has implemented high-quality resistors to achieve 1-Bit DSD decoding.

High-Power Parallel Driver Balanced Amplification Architecture
Cayin has featured dual amplifiers in parallel on the RU7. They provide 4-Ch high-power output producing a strong output thrust of up to 400mW @ 32Ω of impedance load. This is more than adequate to drive most IEMs with ease. With the single-ended 3.5mm output we get 160mW @ 32Ω of load. Both the 3.5mm and 4.4mm output ports support the line-out function.

Shared Line-Out Design
Cayin RU7 features a line-out function through both output ports. We get fixed voltage output with up to 1.2Vrms through the 3.5mm SE output and 2.4Vrms through the 4.4mm output. The line-out voltage is carefully adjusted to retain as many details and dynamics as possible through the 1-Bit DAC architecture with minimum noise and distortion.

All-to-DSD Functionality
Cayin RU7 supports high-resolution audio signal decoding. It supports PCM up to 32-Bit/384kHz bitrate and native DSD256 signals. The RU7 also has All-to-DSD function support that converts all the digital signals into pure DSD format!!

Precise Volume Control With Discrete Components
Cayin RU7 features discrete resistor network Volume control. It has 100-steps volume control through 3 segments of resistors and switching relays. The first segment is between 1-49 volume level, the second segment works at 50-79 volume level and the third and the last segment is at 80 to 100 volume levels. It allows for precise volume adjustment allowing the users to easily pair their demanding power-hungry IEMs as well as easy-to-drive high-sensitivity IEMs.

Compact & Handy
Cayin RU7 is a very compact yet handy device. The device itself is small and has a lightweight design weighing in at just 25 grams. It has a premium zinc alloy material chassis and comes with a high-quality leather protective case. The Type-C cable is also included in the package, Lightning cable has to be bought separately.
