BOSS Katana 25

The BOSS Katana-25 is a compact guitar amplifier that combines the acclaimed Katana tone with BOSS Tube Logic technology for authentic tube amp sound, feel and response. Its 25-watt reactive analog power amp works with a custom 8-inch speaker to deliver dynamic response, rich bass and detailed highs in a lightweight cabinet.

Six amp characters with variations cover a wide range of sounds, from sparkling clean tones to high-gain distortion. A dedicated character is tuned for acoustic-electric instruments, while more than 60 BOSS effects are available through the BOSS Tone Studio app, with up to five effects usable simultaneously.

The amplifier features gain, volume and three-band EQ controls, along with a built-in tuner and tap tempo for delay effects. The Tone Setting section provides 20 presets and 10 user slots, allowing you to recall ready-to-play sounds or save custom setups. Selectable Power Control switches between maximum power and 0.5 W operation for lower-volume practice.

Integrated Bluetooth supports audio streaming from compatible devices and MIDI communication over Bluetooth Low Energy. The BOSS Tone Studio app provides deeper sound editing, access to BOSS Tone Exchange and a Session function for playing along with YouTube content. A headphone/recording output enables quiet practice, while the USB-C port supports direct recording to a computer or mobile device.

External control is available through compatible BOSS footswitches, wireless footswitches and expression pedals. The compact cabinet features an open-back design and weighs just 4.8 kg, making it convenient for home practice and everyday playing.
