Aune AR9000

The Aune AR9000 is the company's flagship open-back over-ear headphone, featuring a custom-developed 50 mm dynamic driver and an acoustic architecture inspired by high-end loudspeaker design. It delivers natural, detailed and dynamic sound with a spacious presentation while retaining substantial bass impact.

The driver uses an Omni-Stack Carbon Diaphragm (OSCD), featuring a continuous long-fibre structure arranged in precisely controlled layers and treated with zonal heat processing for optimised damping. Its high specific stiffness contributes to clean, detailed reproduction. A patented constant-flux linear magnetic circuit provides up to 4 mm of linear excursion, supporting high dynamic headroom and deep sub-bass response.

An ultra-low-damping suspension system with asymmetrical variable thickness and radial reinforcements helps control resonance and dynamic compression, allowing near-pistonic diaphragm movement. Behind the driver, a patented acoustic absorption and diffusion structure uses precisely calculated open and closed cavities to smooth the midrange and treble while creating a more spacious soundstage.

With a 43-ohm impedance and 102 dB sensitivity, the AR9000 is easy to drive from portable DACs and headphone amplifiers, while also benefiting from higher-quality desktop equipment. It comes with a 1.6 m silver-plated OCC cable with interchangeable connectors and a protective AuNest hard case.
