The new ARP 2600 M delivers that world-famous sound in a more compact and portable format, and is further enhanced with new features that make it the most practical and modern interpretation of this historic synthesizer.

A legend, reborn
When the ARP 2600 FS was unveiled in January 2020, it quickly became a massive hit, acclaimed by musicians worldwide for its fidelity to the original.

The ARP 2600 M is approximately 60% the size of the original, making it lighter, more portable, and easier to place in the studio. It uses the same analog circuits and components as the ARP 2600 FS, thereby recreating the classic ARP sound with the highest precision.

Designed and manufactured in Japan
The ARP 2600 M is built in Japan with the same care and quality standards as the ARP 2600 FS, and uses identical analog components to accurately reproduce the original’s sound and playing feel.

The spring reverb has been redesigned and adapted to the new format, but still delivers the same rich and characteristic tone.

New format: The smaller size makes patching more manageable and allows for shorter patch cables.
Two filter types: 4012 and 4072 filters from different ARP 2600 generations.
DIN MIDI IN added
Pitch bend, modulation, and portamento ON/OFF can be controlled via MIDI CC (USB/DIN).
Normalized voltage: The threshold for the trigger signal via the S/H GATE jack has been lowered from 10V to 5V—perfect for devices like Volcas and Eurorack.
