Allen & Heath SQ-5+

The SQ5+ is a professional digital mixing console built around Allen & Heath’s powerful 96 kHz XCVI core, delivering ultra-low latency, exceptional processing power and phase-coherent audio performance. Designed for live sound engineers, touring productions, venues and installation environments, it combines advanced mixing capabilities with flexible connectivity and an intuitive workflow.

Equipped with 48 input channels, 17 motorized faders and a redesigned 9-inch capacitive touchscreen, the SQ5+ provides fast and efficient control in demanding live and studio situations. The updated user interface and carbon-on-graphite styling give the console a modern and streamlined feel while maintaining quick access to critical functions.

The SQ5+ features extensive onboard processing, including 8 RackFX engines and 4 dedicated RackUltra FX engines with dedicated stereo returns. It also supports DEEP processing for premium compressor, EQ and preamp emulations directly inside the mixer without additional latency.

Flexible connectivity includes 16 XLR mic/line inputs, 12 XLR outputs, stereo line inputs, AES digital output, USB audio interfacing, headphone output and the intelligent 128x128 SLink port for expansion and integration with Allen & Heath ecosystems. Multi-channel USB recording and playback support makes the console equally capable in live and recording applications.

With advanced routing, customizable layers, network control and expandable I/O options, the SQ5+ is engineered for professional environments where sound quality, reliability and flexibility are essential.
