Allen & Heath QU-3

The Allen & Heath Qu-3 is a compact digital mixer from the acclaimed Qu series, built around a 96 kHz XCVI processing core with support for DEEP Processing. It combines flexible routing, extensive connectivity and an updated user interface in a desktop-friendly format.

The mixer provides 36 input channels, including 32 mono or linkable channels and two stereo channels. Its mix architecture includes 12 mixes, four mono or linkable matrices and a stereo Main LR output. Six customisable fader layers, nine motorised 100 mm faders and a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen provide hands-on control.

The XCVI core supports six multi-FX engines with dedicated stereo returns, as well as DEEP Processing compatibility. Built-in Gain Assistant helps set and monitor input levels, while Feedback Assistant automatically identifies and reduces problematic feedback frequencies with up to 16 filters per output. A 32-channel Automatic Mic Mixer (AMM) is also integrated for conference, panel and broadcast applications.

Recording and playback options include a 32×32 USB-C audio interface, 16×16 multitrack recording and playback via SD card at 96 kHz, and stereo recording and playback via USB-A. The 128×128 SLink port supports Allen & Heath Everything I/O expanders and system connections. Dante connectivity is available as an optional upgrade, with the Qu-3D model featuring built-in Dante connectivity.
