The AKG C151 is a small diaphragm condenser microphone that delivers accurate and detailed sound reproduction. It is specially designed for instrument recording and ambient sound, backed by decades of AKG acoustic expertise.

The microphone is equipped with a precise cardioid capsule and an optimized, transformerless FET circuit that provides low self-noise and a wide dynamic range. The result is a clean and well-defined sound that is particularly well suited for instruments, acoustic recordings, overheads, string instruments, and percussion.

Like the other models in the C series, the AKG C151 has been developed with a focus on sustainability. The microphone housing is made from 100% recycled PIR metals and alloys, and both the packaging and accessories are designed for minimal environmental impact.
