Stanton SCS.1m

The SCS-1m is essentially a MIDI controller that also sends/receives audio via FireWire. A program called DaRouter handles communication between the computer and the SCS unit and translates everything into MIDI signals. All parameters on the controller are fully mappable, with visual feedback, for your favorite program, and lots of presets are available.

It is designed in a DJ format that will immediately feel familiar to anyone who has stood behind a DJ setup. The SCS-1m features 4 channel strips with faders and EQ controls, as well as a smooth crossfader and a simple cue/monitor section. It is also possible to connect a “real” turntable or CD player via an aux input. Just as perfect as a standalone mixer as it is in combination with the SCS-1d.
