The Audac WX502/OB speakers were specifically designed for outdoor use and lend themselves for a variety of applications, ensuring true-to-nature, high-fidelity reproduction of music and speech. Their new metal mounting brackets allow users to mount the WX502/OB vertically as well as horizontally, and are treated with a special coating which provides the necessary protection against changing weather conditions. A drain hole behind the aluminium grille allows rainwater to flow out. The 5-pole waterproof connector at the backside makes sure this speaker meets the IP44 standards. The WX502/OB’s are 2-way performance speakers with a 5” low frequency loudspeaker and a 1” dome tweeter. With a recessed adjuster screw at the back of the speaker, the power tapping can be set in 3 adjustable steps of impedance for 100V (40W, 20W and 10W) and in 1 step for 8 Ohm standard low impedance applications. The speakers are built in a synthetic housing.
