The Outdoor Cover for 5100 Mobile Surround Microphone from DPA Microphones protects the unit against rain and reduces wind noise. Since the material is soft foam, it absorbs water and prevents it from damaging the microphone. Water will run down and drip off at the soft band beneath the cover. When fully absorbed by water, it is easy to wring out the Outdoor Cover by hand. Furthermore, the foam cover prevents rain drops from creating a drumming noise on the microphone.
