The Zoom A1X FOUR is an innovative multi-effects unit that not only provides acoustic guitars with first-class studio-quality effects, but also traditional string and wind instruments. Up to five of over 90 integrated effects, amplifiers, speakers and microphone simulations can be used at the same time, all of which are specially tuned to the characteristics of acoustic instruments. Thanks to the integrated expression pedal, certain effects can also be manipulated in real time. In addition, the Zoom A1X FOUR offers an integrated looper with up to 30 seconds recording time and a drum computer with 68 rhythms of the most popular unplugged styles for varied practice and creation of your own songs. The Zoom A1X FOUR also includes an external Zoom MAA-1 microphone preamp for miking acoustic instruments, which works with both dynamic and condenser microphones.

Designed specifically for acoustic guitars, the Zoom A1X FOURModelings features a variety of guitar types, giving your favorite guitar the sonic character of the most legendary instruments between dreadnought and parlor. The use of Impulse Responses (IR) guarantees a particularly natural sound experience, while a 3-band equalizer allows the precise tuning of the timbre.

In addition, the Zoom A1X FOUR has an extensive effects library for all acoustic guitars and string or wind instruments, which has been specially adapted to their characteristic sounds. Accordingly, almost 90 effects from the Drive, Modulation, Filter and Dynamic sections offer the possibility to adapt the sound to your own ideas or even to completely alienate it. The practical expression pedal of the Zoom A1X FOUR allows you to control certain effects parameters in real time. Via the USB port, the Zoom A1X FOUR also contacts the free Zoom Guitar Lab software, which can be used to load additional effects or fine-tune the sound.

Looper and drum computer

The Zoom A1X FOUR also features an integrated loop recorder that allows you to layer different patterns with up to 30 seconds of recording time and CD quality for varied practicing or creating your own songs. A practical drum computer with 68 rhythm patterns of the most popular unplugged styles, including samba and jazz, is also on board.

Zoom MAA-1 preamp for microphones

Last but not least, the Zoom A1X FOUR comes with the practical Zoom MAA-1 microphone preamp, to which microphones can be connected to pick up the instruments used. The handy preamplifier not only supports dynamic microphones, but also condenser microphones thanks to its switchable 48 V phantom power.
