Opticon 8 are the largest floorstanding speakers in the Opticon range. At a towering 1140mm high these speakers are blessed with the best in DALI’s cutting edge technology. If you want to move air with the ultimate in power and precision, the Opticon 8 is your answer. With a capacious cabinet, 2 x 8 inch low loss wood fibre woofers to render the deep bass joined by a 6½ inch low loss wood fibre woofer to handle the mid-range and DALI's trademark hybrid tweeter with a soft dome and ribbon tweeter, the Opticon 8 is capable of filling even the largest rooms with utterly immersive audio. 

This impressive 3 + ½-way system leaves nothing out and delivers a punchy bass, refined mid-range and high-definition high frequencies. Enhancing the quality of any source and putting in a performance that will magnify even the subtlest sounds of the recording. Also featuring the same gold plated bi-wiring terminals as the rest of the range, the Opticon 8 is a riot of deep bass and mid and high range perfection.

Wood Fibre Woofer / SMC Magnet / Hybrid Tweeter
The Opticon 8 features the same low loss wood fibre woofer as the Epicon series, alongside the unique SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) magnet motor system and a reworked version DALI's Hybrid Tweeter module also found in the Rubicon range, all of which works together along with a individual bass reflex port for the woofer to produce audio exactly as the recording artist originally envisioned it.
