The sound of a wah pedal parked halfway through its throw has become a standard in rock guitar playing. The Cock Fight's Frequency knob gives you this sound with control over the center part of your cocked wah tone. Throw the switch to Talk and the wah takes on a human vocal quality. The Bottom control adds or removes low frequencies from the sweep of the wah. And a mini toggle switch places the onboard fuzz before or after the wah for classic or more experimental sounds.

Plugging an optional expression pedal into your Electro-Harmonix Cock Fight pedal allows you to control the wah tones in the standard wah pedal method. The Frequency and Bottom controls still have the same effect on your tone, offering you the ability to tweak your wah's performance to your liking. This method is especially effective with the Talk setting, delivering a completely different frequency sweep than wah. And by placing the fuzz after the wah, you can get huge synthesizer-style sweeps and oscillations.

The Cock Fight's onboard fuzz is as powerful as the wah section. Controls for Drive and Tone determine the overall sound of the fuzz, while the Bias knob can dial back the voltage to the fuzz, simulating a dying battery for the sputtering, spitting sounds that are a favorite around Sweetwater. All the way up, the Bias control allows the fuzz to exude a full, dynamic, and throaty tone that can be useful in a wide variety of genres.
